Otto H. Christensen was a linguist earning a PhD in Oriental Language (Syriac). He served as a missionary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church among the Mongolian peoples in China for about 10 years. Following his return to the United States he served as an evangelist, a pastor, and a college professor at Emmanuel Missionary College/Andrews University and Southern Missionary College.
